Requirement Structuring Engine

Built a system that ingests requirements from three sources - legislation requirements, internal compliance requirements, and project-specific technical specifications - and structures them into a unified, searchable, version-controlled requirement segmentation

Requirements are imported from Word documents, PDFs, and spreadsheets - the formats procurement teams actually use - and automatically parsed into structured line items with IDs, version numbers, and criticality classifications
Critical requirements are flagged and tracked separately - ensuring that non-negotiable compliance items receive the highest scrutiny during evaluation
The requirement set becomes the evaluation framework: every vendor offer is assessed against every line item, every time, with no possibility of a requirement being accidentally skipped

Automated Offer Ingestion

Vendor offers - typically dense, multi-page technical PDFs with machine descriptions, specifications, compliance statements, and commercial terms - are automatically imported into the system
The AI processes each offer document, extracting relevant technical claims, specifications, and compliance statements mapped to the requirement framework
Supports any document format vendors actually submit: PDFs, Word documents, spreadsheets, and scanned documents - eliminating the "our vendors don't use standardized templates" problem
Each imported offer is viewable alongside the original document - procurement teams can click any AI assessment and immediately see the exact page and paragraph in the vendor's offer that supports or contradicts the finding

Side-by-Side Vendor Comparison

Built a comparison dashboard that displays all vendors side-by-side against the complete requirement set - showing compliance status, partial compliance, non-compliance, and gaps for each vendor on every line item
Summary statistics per vendor: total compliant, non-compliant, partial, and not-found counts - giving procurement teams an instant visual comparison of overall offer quality
Critical requirements are highlighted - a vendor that scores well overall but fails on a critical GxP requirement is immediately visible, not buried in the data
The comparison view is the decision interface: procurement teams can see, at a glance, which vendor meets the most requirements, where the gaps are, and where further clarification is needed - all in one screen

AI Compliance Evaluation Engine

For every requirement line item, the AI evaluates each vendor offer and returns a structured assessment: Yes (compliant), No (non-compliant), Partial (partially compliant), or Not Found (no evidence in the offer)

Every assessment includes a confidence score - indicating how certain the AI is about its determination, enabling human reviewers to focus their attention on low-confidence assessments rather than re-reviewing everything
Every assessment includes a supporting quote - the specific passage from the vendor's offer that the AI used to make its determination, with a direct link to highlight the quote in the original document
